BOO!
Can anything be more frightening than living one's life as a liberal?
Strange, strange question. But why do we ask?
Simple.
Despite what they say, liberals - deep down within their callous souls - are ATHEISTS, without even realizing it.
My, my. The very idea! Do we dare imply those on the Left don't believe God exists?
Tsk, tsk. Such calumny!
But look at the evidence:
Liberals are spiritual bullies. They seek positions of power- e.g. professor, teacher, politician - where they can lord over their subjects, and dominate them into accepting their leftist views; which - in most cases - means (horrors) NOT telling the truth!
Wasn't there something in the Ten Commandments (which liberals despise) about..."not bearing false witness?"
Examples abound:
College professors now teach revisionist (falsified) history.
They view Abraham Lincoln as a power-lusting tyrant, bent more on creating an invincible, centralized American State, than on freeing slaves.
They tell lies "in absentia"- omitting the true greatness of America. Instead, they touch upon only the really "important facts" such as slavery, the Klan; the suppression of "non-white" people, imperialism; the terrible atomic bombing of Japan; the civil rights movement; unionism, the Vietnam debacle, etc.
Revisionists see Hiroshima and Nagasaki as “atrocities.” They portray Truman's decision as having been not only utterly unnecessary to end the war, but motivated by a desire to intimidate Stalin with the reality of American power.
Revisionists believe the United States was an imperial power, who's objective in entering World War II was not stopping Fascism, but rather advancing its own imperial interests.
Hence, we suffer generations of leftist, America-hating college students, who know nothing of the Civil war, little about World War II, or how post-war America rebuilt Europe and allowed Japan to recover and flourish into the stable country that exists today.
But this is what liberals do best.
Misleading (lying) is okay because the end always justifies the means, which bespeaks of a carte blanche form of morality: "doing whatever it takes" to establish POWER over others.
Yes, power over others - the basic tenet of the liberal playbook. Obtaining power by any means necessary:
-This includes voter fraud: the political left is in strong support of ACORN
-It includes expanding the welfare state, which has enslaved the minority community for three generations; and may do so in perpetuity if the US falls into one party rule
-It includes wealth re-distribution: taxing people into misery; penalizing those who earn, and rewarding those who don't - the legalization to STEAL the wealth of one, and convey to another, for the SOLE purpose of buying one's vote.
Political domination; acquiring the upper hand - the underlying motivation for everything a liberal does.
Thus, the Left remains in constant motion - passing laws to undermine their country: cap 'n trade; socialized medicine; alien amnesty. It means lying blatantly with patently untrue catch phrases... "creating clean-energy jobs"... "saving the planet"... "providing universal coverage"... "breaking down structural inequalities," etc.
One thing for certain: whenever liberals claim they absolutely won't do something (raise middle class taxes), just assume the opposite, because that's exactly what they're hell bent on doing!
Yes; to be a liberal means to be a liar; but of course they don't see it as such:
They believe it's the other side - those EVIL conservatives- who cause all the trouble; who believe in UPHOLDING the Constitution.
And enraged liberals simply will have none of it!
Indeed; they are not to be thwarted by an old piece of parchment, which they view with utter disdain. The Constitution is in diametric opposition to everything they seek: expanding government power; domination over the masses.
Thus anything goes.
If they have to lie about passing government health care - using a phony AARP endorsement to mislead seniors - that's perfectly OK.
If they have to lie about cap 'n trade and mislead the country about the "millions of clean energy jobs" to be created; that's okay too.
And if they have to lie about passing a trillion dollar, budget- busting stimulus bill - nothing other than a massive fraud to repay political supporters - hey; why not? Again, just say it creates jobs!
Works every time.
Which brings us back to that God thing:
Do people who believe in God, lie at their convenience?
Do people who believe in God, pass laws to steal the wealth of one, to distribute to another?
Do people who believe in God pass laws protecting a woman's right to choose (right to kill)?
Do people who believe in God author/sponsor legislation to undermine their country?
These are but a few examples of how liberals propagate "FAIRNESS" - that everybody, everywhere, and everything should always be equal.
But did Jesus - the Son of GOD - ever say anything about that?
Rather than preaching equality, Jesus often talked in metaphors about the rich and poor. He used them to make his point. He hated hypocrites. He spoke of how the rich would have trouble entering heaven because they cared not about the poor.
Hence, Jesus told the parable of a good Samaritan, who, unlike the Priest and the Levite - the poor lowly traveler from Samaria was the one to stop and give first aid to a helpless robbery victim at the side of the road; ultimately, a lesson in both hypocrisy and humanity.
Which illustrates exactly why liberals spiritually, are in deep doo-doo. They are generally stingy. They will fight to the bitter end to pass laws to "help the poor," but seldom give of their own personal income to any appreciable extent.
Some liberals can be very generous indeed, but only if they're getting something out of it for themselves (i.e. recognition). These are the ultimate hypocrites.
Whether we speak of 2000 years ago, when Jesus walked the earth, or today - money remains the root of all evil. How you go about obtaining your wealth, and how one uses it- for his own selfish ends, or to benefit others- are the keys to the kingdom, as Jesus maintained throughout his public life.
Which leads us back to history and how it proves the existence of God - or more accurately, verifies that Jesus indeed, once lived on earth.
It's all about those four dudes; Matthew, Mark, Luke & John
There were four synoptic (i.e. synonymous) gospels - written between 65-80 AD; all of which bear remarkably parallel content: Jesus transformed water into wine; Jesus fed five thousand with two fish and some bread; Jesus cured the lepers; Jesus restored the sight of the blind man; resurrected Lazarus from the dead, etc.
But Jesus Christ's "main event" - all written in explicit detail by all four gospel writers- bears the most remarkable similarity of all.
The words Jesus spoke before betrayal by Judas; that he was denied three times by Simon Peter; that he was tortured, condemned by Pontius Pilate, then crucified on Calvary hill between two others - then gloriously arises three days later from the dead.
No revisionist history here.
All four men - having gone their separate ways - at widely variant times - all wrote down their versions of the same event; and most importantly- followed the exact same time line!
Was this by sheer coincidence? Could there have been a fabrication? Collusion? Sorry liberals - no way!
Is this not how all true historians have written? -all along the same time line - which means they all relate the same fundamental story; whether it was the Civil War; the Crusades, the rise and fall of the Roman Empire; D-Day; Alexander the Great, the Wright brothers, the Black Death, etc.
No matter the author, history always reads the same way; it all follows the same time line, and was recorded thusly.
So all you wonderful liberals; what now?
Did the four gospels somehow appear from nowhere? Ignore the existence of God at your own peril!
Sure, you can deny God exists, because evil exists; and of course, an all-good, almighty God - if He existed - would not allow all the evil in the world. Right?
Wrong. Sorry Charlie
Indeed, God is there - somewhere. You don't see Him because He tests your belief.
Evil has a purpose - it's about our having a free will; choose evil in this world, burn in the next. That's how you're judged. Simple, but true. And FAIR.
Which finally brings us back to that really scary thing: why liberals should be afraid - very afraid -as they get nearer to the end. It's called the inexorable march of time - time being the only thing all humans who exist now, or have ever existed before - all have in common.
Yes - we all have our individual timelines, which can aptly be defined as thus - "we are all born to die."
Your life clock is always ticking, liberals. Your atheism grows scarier by each passing day. And what if you've been wrong?
But it's too late now. You lied; and you died. And you cared not about the poor. You spent your time stepping over others - rather than living otherwise.
Well, good luck all you self-righteous liberals out there; thinking you're oh, so very wonderful, because you're always trying to be fair to everyone.
Sure.
Just recall the words of St. Bernard of Clairvaux (circa 1150), "L'enfer est plein de bonnes volontés ou désirs
TRANSLATION: "the road to hell is paved with good intentions."
See ya later.
