Jefferson's nightmare

(Quote)..."No government can continue good but under control of the people; and their people were so demoralized and depraved as incapable of exercising a wholesome control"...Thomas Jefferson to Adams -1819, on the downfall of the Roman Empire.

(Contemporary Interpretation): Congress has shown America its middle finger - every tea party has been rendered irrelevant.

(2nd quote)...""When patience has begotten false estimates of its motives, when wrongs are pressed because it is believed they will be borne, resistance becomes morality." --Thomas Jefferson:1807.

(Interpretation): Pelosi has usurped her authority - playing conservative-middle Americans for fools.

(3rd quote)... "a revolution every now and then is a good thing." Thomas Jeffferson to Madison (circa 1797).

In the concealment of darkness; in the 11th hour of a late Saturday evening - a democratic mob chose to pass a measure that blows wide open our path to enslavement- HR 3962- government run healthcare.

So what shall we conservatives do now? Do we continue to follow our false gods of patriotism- the conservative radio talkers?

Unquestionably, they all talk of patriotism; but in selfish unanimity, they decline the "sacrifice" of running for office. Indeed, their inspiration is invaluable; but their counsel has proven utterly worthless.

Ironically, it is the radical Leftists who are conducting Voltairean-like revolution!

But what do our talk-show "leaders" offer as counter-strategy? Play nice. Be business-like. Be not vitriolic in our opposition. Wait until 2010.

And to what end? Failure!

ITEM: A 70 year-old, dimunitive Catholic priest was handcuffed, and ordered dragged out by Speaker Nancy Pelosi; who had the cleric arrested because he had dared to violate the sacred space of her office, in protest of government-funded abortion.

ITEM: an elderly, 5-foot tall, 72 year-old female was ordered arrested for "assault": This dangerous old lady had spent $500 for a plane ticket to lodge her complaints about the growth of government, and had dared to touch a congressman's sleeve as he walked away in the hallways of the Rayburn building - refusing any answer to this persistent lady's questioning.

ITEM: another peaceful man was ordered by representative Alan Grayson to immediately leave his office under threat of arrest - one of nine tea party protestors charged with tresspassing.

Meanwhile, a crowd of forty thousand stood half an acre away, chanting..."kill the bill."

Perhaps, chanting "kill the usurpers" would have been more appropriate.

Indeed; has the radical Left ever "played nice" or acted "businesslike" in their opposition?

Did they not succeed in altering -then ending- the Vietnam war?

And what about ACORN? By methodical intimidation, they succeeded in scaring many a hapless banker into granting mortgages to people not even worthy of renting furniture.

And who knows? Were it not for the radical overtone of Leftist pro-abortionists, could the cataclysmic Roe vs.Wade decision have gone the other way?

So what's the point of even following the radio talkers? They are not generals!

It's the wheel that squeeks loudest that gets the grease.

Can we really expect our voices be heard, if we don't amplify them over the noise of the Left?

When we avoid yelling; or carrying "radical" signs, thereby denying the tyranny - rather than decrying it-  we are playing directly into the Left's hands, because it's they who control the media.

Hence, we haven taken their bait: we don't want to look like a mob? Hah!

But it is mob tactics that are just what is needed!

How else do we instill fear into these demon Senate democrats?

Now energized by the House - it's a virtual certainty the Senate will find courage enough to pass an even more egregious health care bill - unless we instill fear into those who teeter on the fence.

Otherwise, if we take the fool advice of the radio talkers, undoubtedly it will be too late!

What if Churchill had advised the British to let the Germans ashore in 1940; and then, after a year, start the revolt to defeat them? Instead of his heroic place in History, Churchill would have been forever lampooned as "the man that lost the war."

Henceforth, if we delay till 2010, we are doing Pelosi's and Obama's evil handiwork - we will have lost the war.

And who was it that said... "never bring a knife to a gunfight."

But this is basically what's transpired over the last three months.

The conservative activists - not wanting to appear unruly - have shown up "armed' with polite signs; behaving as though they were in protest of a home eviction, rather than faced with the impending doom of losing the individual freedoms we've cherished over the last 220 years.

And the congressional Nazis have responded "in kind:" armed police; handcuffs; criminal arrests; even physically dragging some off to jail.

What if the Colonists had been nice to the Redcoats? What if they had carried benign signs - not wanting to be perceived as a "mob" by the colonial press?

Ergo; when all else fails, one must fight fire with fire. No, not revolt by arms, but by adopting the same tactics as the enemy.

Are not the actions of our Congress blatantly unconstitutional? By being civil, can we possibly hope to thwart the Senate's inexorable advance toward enslaving us with government healthcare?

Look what civility has accomplished thus far:

When civil persuasion fails, nothing is left - other than instilling FEAR. So forget the insipid signs. Abandon the polite behavior.

The only way to upend radicalism is too be more radical: hit them where it hurts - accuse them of the very misdeeds they are exhibiting: the unconstitutional usurpation of our right to be LEFT ALONE!

And what better place to lodge our new vitriolism? The very place where the our Founders intended that the Constitution be upheld; the steps of the Supreme Court.

Charlatan extraordinaire Obama has outwitted us again.

Last Saturday afternoon, he - in two minutes - undid all the tea parties' efforts of the last half year, convincing wavering House blue dogs (quote)..."You're damned if you do, and damned if you don't; so you best be damned anyway and vote FOR the bill."

Obama now directs his beguiling magic toward the Senate, and will undoubtedly convince any wavering democrats that they too, must fall on their swords for "their" president.

So what's left, conservatives? Do we dare exhibit the courage of the Left and be willing to sacrifice ARREST for our cause? A cause that is now equal to revolution; for if we wait until 2010 to exact our revenge, it will have been a hollow rebellion - Obama will have won.

Now we must act:

If you have an RV- load it up. If you can afford a plane ticket to DC - book it! If you can organize a bus charter, then delay not.

The next tea party must be scheduled where it will attract the attention of ALL the world: the Supreme Court!

Would a cadre of Senate Leftists pay any attention to a "mob" encamped on the steps of the Supreme Court building? A threatening crowd, bearing signs that read...UNCONSTITUTIONAL HEALTHCARE? NEVER!...and..."SEE YA LATER, TRAITOR."

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said.. "fear is the greatest motivator."

We must not only make these callous democrats fear for their jobs, we must hit them where it hurts most - we must literally embarrass them away from their hypnotic embrace of Obammunism: we must accuse them of being anti-American!

Even the Left cannot stand up to the charge of being anti-American; and what better place to initiate such grievous rantings than at the doorstep of the Supreme Court.

Such sound strategy kills two birds with one stone:

It serves as ominous warning to both Senate Democrats and leftist Supreme Court Jurists alike: the tone has gotten far more shrill. Not only are we not gonna take it anymore, we are willing to be taken into custody to prove it. And we shall persist until "mission accomplished!"

Would that Thomas Jefferson could be alive today - he could very well have offered his inspirational take on this nightmarish, leftist assault upon our sacred Constitution. Perhaps, the most philosophical thinker in all of American History would've written the following:

"Arrest for trespass is small compensation for the pepetuation of freedom."
