The Party of Sleaze

(QUOTE)..."I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this...who will count the votes, and how.”

Joseph Stalin (circa 1935)

Now flash forward to wonderful Ohio, and what took place on October 2, 2008; when massive voter fraud - enabled by Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunnner - obviously took place in two of the state's largest counties: Cuyahoga (Cleveland) and Franklin (Columbus).

Claims teenager Freddie Johnson of Garfield Heights, who said: "I was offered smokes and dollar bills to fill out voter registration cards."

Not surprisingly, the Cuyahoga County Elections Board later turned up 73 cards with Johnson’s name on them.

Only 73?

This came to light after Johnson (and another prolific registrant) were subpoenaed to testify at a meeting of the Cuyahoga County Elections Board - examining "possible" fraud by ACORN.

Johnson claimed he was only was trying to help ACORN workers; who begged him to sign up because they needed "to keep their jobs."

Earlier, during September of 2008, an initial GOP review found that about 200,000 newly registered voters reported information that did not match existing Ohio motor vehicle or Social Security records.

Only 200,000?

Then there were the new "early voting" rules set up by the democrat Brunner - allowing people to register and vote on the same day - no picture ID required; just a copy of a utility bill and their "last four."

Argued Brunner..."they are merely "casting their ballot" rather than "voting" - so the fact that Ohio statute requires 30 days between registering and voting would not interfere."

Nothing like a little word-parsing to make a point, eh Jenny?

But indeed, hordes of people were showing up to register and vote early in both counties.

Even worse, there was no affirmative evidence that these same people had not registered or voted somewhere else.

There was no control! No safeguards whatsoever.

Normally in an election, partisan election monitors are allowed into polling places so that they can police each other. But not in two counties, Franklin and Montgomery (Dayton).

Seems that the good secretary Brunner also had issued an "advisory opinion" to counties saying that they are not required to allow election monitors.

Anecdotal stories abounded statewide about Republican election monitors not being allowed into polling places.

Said one voter, who tried to record the evidence with his  cellphone: "You almost can't believe what you're hearing; but there's no question who these people (some who were literally pulled off the street) are voting for."

Gee, ya think it could it have been Barack H. Obama?

Nevertheless, top Democrat leaders are now aggressively pushing the claim that Republicans’ worries about voter fraud are "an insincere excuse to suppress voting by African-Americans and Hispanics."

On Nov. 14, 2011, progressive Democratic Reps. John Conyers, Steny Hoyer, Jerrold Nadler, Keith Ellison, Steve Cohen, Marcia Fudge and Emanuel Cleaver, chair of the Congressional Black Caucus - along with representatives from several advocacy groups - held a meeting to complain about what they say is the danger posed by laws that require voters to identify themselves.

Said Mr. Cleaver..."Many voters are poor, or elderly, or black and Hispanic, and could have a hard time navigating the bureaucracy to get a card."

But where is the evidence of that?

How does one apply for welfare benefits without a picture ID? How does one cash a government check without ID? Is it therefore "racist" to require an ID to fly? Or rent a car? Or even a rent a movie?

But to show an ID to protect our hard-won democracy to vote? "No-no" say the democrats. "That's voter suppression" they claim.

Jim Crow stuff and all that.

Face it America: Does this not mean a big part of the dems' 2012 re-election strategy (for Obama) is they're planning a megaton of voter fraud, and already are starting their cover?

Are not they denouncing GOP attempts in 25 states to enact voter ID laws - claiming they discriminate against minorities? - while at the same time, ranting away about..."there is little evidence that voter fraud exists anywhere in the USA."

But indeed, the fraud exists. Those who deny it are liars.

And the easiest, most obvious way to stop it is photo ID at the polls. And the only people who have a reason to object are those who perpetuate the fraud; or benefit from such.

But the fact that Democrats are universally against voter ID, screams out that there IS a fraud issue. And if there are no problems, then would not people be fairly evenly split? - both democrats AND republicans.

Herein follows some of the more egregious examples of "non-existent" voter fraud in "the several states."

In California, national talk radio show host Roger Hedgecock found illegal aliens registered to vote when he walked some Hispanic neighborhoods with a list of registered voters.

And where illegals are registered, can we not all safely assume illegal aliens will be voting?

In Minnesota, during the 3 million vote recount for the 2008 Senate Race, between Republican Norm Coleman and Democrat Al Franken, 40,000 more ballots turned up than the actual number of registered voters.

But perhaps no more egregious example of US voter fraud took place in theLouisiana 1996 election for the U.S. Senate; in which Democrat Mary Landrieu defeated Republican Louis "Woody" Jenkins.

In 1994 - as required by federal law - Louisiana had enacted a "Motor Voter" statute, allowing voters to sign up at license bureaus or at welfare and government offices.

Ergo, to protect ballot security, any voter registering by mail - who never before had cast a ballot -would produce a photo ID at the polls.

That seemed reasonable. But in September 1996, the Clinton Administration said "no."

Assistant Attorney General Deval L. Patrick decreed that (quote)..."the provision violated the Voting Rights Act of 1965, because blacks were not as likely as whites to have driver's licenses or other picture IDs."

Hence, under Clinton's decree, officials at Louisiana's polls could no longer request a photo ID to uncover fraud.

Which would lead to perhaps the most rampant case of voter fraud in any major US election; where Mary Landrieu defeated Woody Jenkins by 5100 votes, out of 1.7 million cast.

A brilliant conservative orator - serving 25 years in the state Legislature - Jenkins was pitted against far-left challenger Landrieu, in a race for the seat vacated by J. Bennet Johnson (a democrat).

On election day, Jenkins led exit polls all day....51 to 49.

As returns came in, it had held up until 9:45 PM, when suddenly, a surge of votes from New Orleans  saw Landrieu edge slightly ahead.

Outside New Orleans, Jenkins won the state, prevailing 53% to 47%; but within New Orleans, Landrieu's incredible 100,000-vote margin was just enough to eek out her razor-thin "victory."

But it was all the work of ACORN, who's fingerprints were everywhere:

Throughout election day, there were countless reports of "irregularities." Jenkins then refused concession - loudly demanding the results be investigated.

Predictably, Democratic election officials began stone-walling - defying a federal court order. They denied access to voter registration applications, and other vital documents.

In New Orleans, examples of the rampant vote fraud were unending:

The local media garnered hundreds of reports from witnesses who were offered money (or alcohol) to vote. Democrats had placed voter punch cards throughout all black churches in Louisiana.

On election day, hundreds of vans and buses cruised New Orleans' public housing projects - soliciting persons to "make some money" by going to the polls, then voting multiple times.

Democrats were paid anywhere from $10 up to $120, for their votes.

Transcripts of conversations with persons selling their votes in New Orleans - and drivers who paid them - revealed a complex network of democratic operatives, who were paid by county commissioners, with access to large amounts of cash.

"This nice person drove up to the bus stop, and asked whether I was registered," one woman said to the lawyers and investigators for Jenkins. "I told him I was, but didn't feel like voting. He said, 'If I paid you, would you go?' I got up from the bus stop bench - dusted off my pants - and got in the car."

The woman, who neither reads nor writes, claimed the man took her to three polling places, where she voted and signed an "X" each time.

That same election day, a 32-year-old mechanic testified he drove a van, "picking up people who proceeded to vote at least ten times, or even more." For his efforts, he received $700.

One woman, who said she voted three times, groused about how much she was paid. "I was supposed to get $75; but all they paid was $25." Added the woman..."they gave me some 'stanky T-shirt' with Landrieu's picture on it."

Throughout that election day, Orleans Parish exit polls showed Jenkins and Landrieu in a virtual deadlock. But at 9:45 PM - almost two hours after the polls had closed - some 70 of New Orleans' 474 precincts had not yet reported their votes.

Outside the city, Jenkins had won by 95,000 votes. Within city limits, however, he was buried by a margin of 100,000.

Over 200 New Orleans city employees had been ordered to campaign for Mayor Marc Morial's "hand-picked candidates" - or be fired. A list of employees was posted in City Hall, directing them to either Clinton or Landrieu headquarters, where they would be given directives.

In certain New Orleans precincts, computer voting-machine tapes had incorrect dates -precincts where Jenkins lost to Landrieu by a margin of NINE to one.

Democratic Election officials swore the machines had not been tampered with.

Jenkins's investigators later uncovered evidence that of the addresses of 3169 registered voters in New Orleans' public housing projects - considered VACANT by the city- 1380 voted illegally in the election.

One unnamed ACORN worker revealed yet more "company secrets”.

- Among "certain demographic groups," voters got not only rides to the polls, but money  for "expenses," a free box lunch, plus a list of "those one should vote for."

- Certain “poll watchers” also got paid, who's job it was to "co-ordinate votes" with the same list. Hence, Landrieu won 85% of Orleans - the final parish to be counted.

- There were a significant number of phantom votes cast: the number of votes tallied on voting machines exceeded the number of voter signatures on the precinct register. Also specific names appearing on poll lists were not found on the lists of registered voters.

Not surprisingly, Clinton's Justice Department - under the initiatives of Duval Patrick- made sure that all legal venues sought by Woody Jenkins would mysteriously run into legal "roadblocks."

Even worse, the overwhelmingly republican Congress left Jenkins hanging! They did NOTHING - a tradition which seems to have carried over to this very day.

Now consider the election of 2010 in Nevada; where Senator Harry Reid destroyed Sharron Angle by almost 6 points, when pre-election polls showed a near deadlock.

Or what about Washington state? - where incumbent democrat Patty Murray won by a margin of less than .5 percent.

And would Incumbent Barbara Boxer have turned back Carly Fiorina's US Senate challenge (52-48) without the help of the votes of California's estimated 5 million illegal aliens?

Take away democratic voter fraud and you have a 50-50 even split in the present US Senate; which literally would have changed the course of our nation over the last three years.

Perhaps a balanced budget amendment could have passed. Or opening up ANWAR for drilling. Or even getting the nation's profligate spending under control; thereby rescuing the Republic from possible insolvency.

But nevertheless, a prolific nationwide network of entrenched Democrat poll workers were able to literally change our nation's destiny; not unlike that of a banana republic.

Here's to the democrats; the party of sleaze.
