ANSWER: That's the sound made by the pie that Olympia Snowe threw defiantly into the face of every center/conservative American (approx. 70% of voters) who do NOT want the government to take over any part of U.S. healthcare!

Remember that famous sarcastic quote from ol' Hillary, during Slick Willie's 1992 campaign? It went like this: "I suppose I should have stayed home and baked cookies!"

Well, to all you foolhardy patriotic people who went to great pains to organize/attend those teaparties & townhalls; you might just as well stayed home and done just that...baked cookies (or better yet a pie), because all your concerted efforts to send a message to Congress have been for NAUGHT...NOTHING...NEIN...NADA...ZERO! 

Chocolate chip? Oat meal? Actually, a slice of humble pie is what we are now being served by the most ultra-arrogant, leftist, radical bunch of robbers who ever cast a shadow in the halls of Congress!

When will we learn?

These radical socialists are NOT AFRAID of anyone who opposes them! Especially you, the average American citizen, who foolishly thinks that by threatening to vote against their unconstitutional marxist takeover of the American economy, and transfer our hard earned wealth to the democratic leeches - that it will somehow stop them in their tracks.

IT WILL NOT!

Tea parties, townhall meetings and the like are like using bows & arrows against tanks and rocket launchers.

If Americans want to see all their freedoms disappear, and their beloved country turned into Marxland, just keep it up: keep listening to talk show hosts; keep reading their books, holding tea partes, keep calling Washington and sending e-mails. And of course, keep HOPING it'll be effective - because it's just what these sordid Congressional leftists want you to keep doing.

What we fail to understand: the overriding POWER of INCUMBENCY!

Do you think Olympia Snowe fears for her Senate seat? How about Mary Landrieu? Or Blanche Lincoln? Or Evan Baye? Or Alan Grayson? Of course not! They are the incumbents! They have franking privleges! Come election time, they'll send out a blizzard of state-of-the-art mailers, touting all their earmarks (good works) and trashing the Republican party as do-nothings; and unbelievably, it works.

Do you think Chris Dodd or Harry Reid is worried? HAH!

Come election time 2010, they will have accumulated enough campaign contributions from their leftist supporters, to run a torrent of negative campaign commercials and destroy the reputations of ANYONE who opposes them.

Right now, Rahm Emanuel and Chuck Schumer's Senate campaign staff are on the phone, digging up "dirt" against all viable Republican candidates who threaten ANY Democratic seat in either the House or Senate.

And their preferred method of choice is to obtain (fraudulently) social security numbers, and run an IRS audit, and destroy one's reputation (recall Joe the Plumber) in a dastardly (and illegal) fashion. But this too, works every time.

Remember when PT Barnum said ...there's a sucker born every minute? Well the American Public are SUCKERS for Democratic lies and slander; they "suck it up".

Negative campaigning ALWAYS succeeds; like it or not..dirt sells!

Our National Enquirer mentality is embedded deep into our culture; we love a good scandal - be it true OR false.

And if you disagree with this analysis, look how the democrats made instant mincemeat out the cleanest possible candidate on Earth, with a near 90% APPROVAL rating in her home state; the most popular governor in America, with an All-American family to boot - Sarah Palin.

REMEMBER: With the mainstream media 95% on the side of the LEFT, conservative America can do no right!

Just ask Norm Coleman, who on October 31, 2008 (in a Minnesota Quinnipiac poll) was leading the vile Al Franken by 10 points; yet Coleman ended up losing his Senate seat because the Democrats spent 2 million dollars running a blistering series of negative campaign spots on television for the last week, and closed the gap to a dead heat!

And it was ALL lies and innuendo against Mr. Coleman - but the TV stations ran the ads anyway.

That's why these amoral criminals in Washington have no fear; the power of the mainstream media is totally in their corner. They took three honest, hardworking Republicans and turned them ALL into Mudd: and the majority of independent voters bought it lock stock 'n barrel (whatever that means).

So let's play political toy soldiers and line up our pieces on the battlefield:

On the Left we have 60 Senate Democrats - the majority of them leftist radicals- versus 40 hapless Republicans, NONE of which has a clue - or the political nerve- to countermand them.

On the Left we have Rahm Emanuel; David Axelrod: Valerie Jarrett; James Carville; plus about 25 other ultra-clever ultra-leftist Democrats, who know every political dirty trick in the book; and are not afraid to attack and use their perfidy against anyone, at anytime, for any reason.

And opposing this cadre of thugs we have the lily Michael Steele (with the leadership skills of a hermit crab) plus the "renowned" conservative talk show hosts, who all selfishly REFUSE to run for office, but want you to read all their patriotic books, buy their merchandise, and even charge you to go to their websites and become an "Insider."

Ironically, these uppity conservative talkers pretend to be involved, but they accept not any ideas from their followers, and continue to enrich themselves - selling patriotism and hope to middle America - but are little willing to be involved in the fray; yet cleverly portray themselves as "martyrs for the cause."

Supposedly they are our "heroes"; and despite their holy exteriors, they too, are laughing all the way to the bank.

So what can we, the little guys (the average Americans) do, given such overwhelming odds against stopping all this?

1) first of all, we have to contact the RNC and tell them to get rid of Micheal Steele. He is an impotent, incompetent dullard! When Allen Grayson came out with that vicious, horrid, and very effective attack on Republicans, claiming "they want people to die," Steele did nothing...said nothing! He turned the other cheek. The fool!

And Grayson's withering attack worked!

Whose ever clever idea it was, it quickly took the air out of the death-panel controversy, and made the Republicans seem like they were the villians who would deny the elderly health care! 

Leaving this do-nothing Steele incompetent in charge of the Republican party is basically the same thing as running John McCain for President; Steele couldn't be a worse choice to head the party!

SOLUTION: Sarah Palin!

Now that's WHO should be chairman (woman) of the RNC, with Joe the Plumber as her right hand man. Put "ironman" Steele out to pasture; give him a job at the Post Office, where he belongs.

2) The next set of tea parties needs to be directed to where they can do some ACTUAL damage - the main-stream media: i.e. the damn Associated Press; (Association of Socialist Journalists).

EXAMPLE: Just when it seemed both government health care and Barack Obama's ratings were about to drop into the cellar, as if by magic the Associated Press comes up with two polls, showing public "resurgence" in both issues.

These contrived farces were custom designed to give COVER to moderate democrats - i.e., an excuse to vote FOR Obamacare - and let the Blue Dogs and Senate moderates tell their constituents, "I was following the polls."

So here's a simple solution to a seemingly intractable problem...fight fire with fire: Start acting like ACORN!

In the next few weeks, hold a series of tea parties in front of the Associated Press HQ - or even in front of your local newspaper's building. DEMAND the TRUTH!  They either print a retraction, or exactly WHO in the world they polled to come up with such a miracle turnaround.

Above all, be PERSISTENT.

Use the Fox network's "Griff Jenkins" approach: For anyone who walks out of the building, get in their faces (politely). Keep questioning them..."Where did you get your statistics sir? The majority of Americans abhor Obama's radicalism, and want him to back off! Is the AP being paid by the DNC and Whitehouse to fabricate these polls? Do you not have any respect or decency for the First Amendment...?"

The idea is to EMBARRASS them! Nullify the number one Obama weapon vs. the American people: the cadre of liars at the Asociated Press.

3) Change the modus operandi - but keep it simple

Once again, unless conservative Americans want to see what's left of the traditional USA disappear, we have to defend our freedom, and be willing to fight dirty in a clean way, lest we become too much like those we oppose. Henceforth...toilet paper; eggs; and pies.

Fraternity pranks- the power of embarrassment!

Again we must apply ACORN-like tactics: target the homes of these Congressional "moderates,' who represent conservative districts, yet ultimately, they will vote along with Reid and Pelosi - defying their constituents for their own political ends.

THE PLAN: Send busloads of tea-partiers on Congressional "home tours." Upon arrival, the tea partiers disembark and proceed to toilet paper the premises, dropping leaflets saying..."Final warning. No government healthcare. We will see you again in 2010."

RESULT? If these fraternity-stunt "attacks" can be coordinated to take place within a certain time frame, (say a week) not only will they make the news, but they will EMBARRASS the phony moderates and Blue Dogs, and at the same time let them KNOW that they truly ARE being watched; and that not even Pelosi and Reid can save them from certain wrath at the polls.

4) Along the fraternity-stunt theme, we have saved the best for last. Why not a cream pie in the face for the most phony-phony sell-out in America...the dangerous Olympia Snowe, who is quite willing to damage the character of our nation forever, in exchange for Rahm Emanuel's promise that the DNC will not run any viable Democrat against her in 2012.

In World War II, enemy collaborators were executed, run out the country, or at the very least, had their heads shaved - the ultimate embarrassment; the mark of a traitor.

Within one decade, Pittsburgh is producing nearly half of the steel in the United States.

During the First World War, Pittsburgh's steel companies produced 20 million tons of high-grade steel, largely for export to the European countries, who had been the primary combatants since August 1914.

Throughout World War II, Pittsburgh made more steel than the Axis Powers (Japan-Germany-Italy) COMBINED.

Pittsburgh "won" The Second World War for the Allies because of its remarkable output of steel.

The Golden Gate Bridge; the Empire State Building; all the skyscrapers of New York (pre-1970's) were built from steel milled in Pittsburgh. Almost every city along the Mississippi was constructed with Pittsburgh Steel.

Pittsburgh "built" America during the pre and post-war industrial revolutions. Abundant steel production was one of the main reasons the U.S. became an economic powerhouse; and the lone superpower after WW II.

By 1990, Pittsburgh had foresight enough to switch its focus from steel, to health care and technology - the two leading industries in southwestern Pennsylvania today. Yet the once-mighty U.S Steel, Kennametal, and Wheeling-Pitt remain some of the region's top employers.

Pittsburgh - and its surrounding area - has been relatively recession-proof; as it continues to prosper as one of the eastern United State's few economic bright spots - until now.

Despite the fact that America is hemorrhaging jobs, to enviro-Marxists like Lisa Jackson (the EPA Czar), western Pennsylvania is one big NIGHTMARE; an industrial area thriving beneath smokestacks - hundreds of them - and every one now appears on her radar!

Coal, oil, and natural gas industries represent over 90% of U.S. energy production - supplying the economy with over 13 million jobs.

But the Obama administration- using the EPA in IRS-like fashion- has undertaken a mission to harass them all: Incredibly - to the consternation of local officials - they have declared environmental warfare on western Pennsylvania!

And what do they wield as their chief weapon? It's the EPA's recent "endangerment finding" on CO2 (carbon dioxide). 

But is it rather an "insanity finding?" 

Who else but a lunatic Marxist like Barack Obama would sic the EPA on an ENTIRE region, and deliberately undermine them - pretending they pose a danger to "climate change."

That’s right, the oldest industrial area in the county, having built America from the ground up over the last 200 years, all of sudden becomes menacing because of it's carbon dioxide emissions:

Horrors! The earth's climate now threatened by Pennsylvania's industrial CO2 greenhouse gas. All the region's hospitals, emergency clinics, and ambulance crews have been placed on red alert; EMT's and paramedics are fraught with worry- expecting the worst.

Despite an official national unemployment rate of 9.8%, Jackson's heedless enforcement of the new Federal EPA regulations not only will undermine western Pennsylvania's strong economy, it also threatens our national security!

What if we got into a future conflict - say with Red China - and it turned into a prolonged war? Lacking heavy industry, what would we do for our steel? Call on Mexico? Canada? Or Venezuela?

What is this fool anti-President doing? Is Obama on the Chinese government's payroll? By harassing our heavy industries, it will only lead to their re-location overseas.

And for each Pennsylvania coal plant the EPA forces offline, it only guarantees future brownouts and blackouts - as less supply with increasing demand portends yet higher energy prices for working families, and more overall job losses for the region.

Meanwhile, the sacrificial Obama is back in the Whitehouse suffering in shirt sleeves, with the Oval Office heat cranked to a steady 80*- setting a sterling example. 

Predictably, the EPA has "gone Stalin"; ordering that CO2 be "scrubbed" from the smokestacks of all "polluters" who emit more than 25,000 tons a year of carbon dioxide (and five other heat-trapping gases) blamed for global warming.  

But there is no PROVEN existing technology that can do this!

This means that refineries, coal plants, manufacturers, heavy industries, etc, must either come up with a miracle CO2-reduction process in the next few years, or be shut down!

Hence, Western Pennsylvania companies may actually be forced to try the unproven, prohibitively expensive "CO2 sequestration" technology -which requires going to great lengths to pipe "ever-dangerous" CO2 back into the ground - hoping it doesn't seep back up; an insanely-complicated, unnecessary, near-impossible problem - which of course is the EPA's specialty.

Allegheny Energy Inc., (based in Greensburg Pa.), operates 10 coal-fired power plants that could be seriously constrained by EPA regulations. This puts nearly 8000 high-paying jobs directly at risk, plus a number of other associated enterprises that could be in danger. 

The EPA is also asking the Allegheny County Health Department come up with a workable plan to reduce pollution in the Monongahela Valley, requiring that they measure up to federal clean air standards by 2014.

At last, this should relieve the hundreds of thousands of people who everyday, roll around on Pittsburgh's pavement, coughing, gasping and wheezing - some nearly blue from lack of oxygen...from lack of "clean air."

U.S. Steel's Clairton Coke Works ( the nation's largest coke battery), also could be affected. One year ago, the company broke ground on a $1.1 billion project to install new coke batteries along the Monongahela river, and planned to refurbish its older ones at Clairton.

Tired of yelling at your TV set? Those sneaky democrats got you down?

Well git ready for even more shenanigans (and more shouting). They're out to hang Nevada Republican John Ensign...all for a brief fling!

(Quote) "There is a preliminary investigation going on, and we will look at all aspects of this case, as we do whenever there's a case before us, and try to get to the bottom of it as quickly as we can, in FAIRNESS to all."

In fairness to all?

These are the ominous pronunciations of that loveable munchkin, Senate "Ethics" Chairwoman, Barbara Boxer (D- CA), when she was asked about Ensign, on CNN's "State of the Union" (Sunday morning political discussion).

Of course this is yet another hollow ploy (as with Alaska's Ted Stevens) for the democrats to undermine yet another rock-solid Senate Republican seat, and increase their majority to 61 - even before Ensign is up for re-election in 2012.

Ensign's crime of the century centers around his nine-month affair with Cindy Hampton, a high school friend of his wife Darlene.

Cindy and Doug Hampton had been good friends of the Ensigns, living in the same Las Vegas neighborhood, and sending their children to the same private school.

In late 2006, Ensign hired both onto his Senate staff''s payroll: Doug earning more than $10,000 a month as "administrative assistant," with Cindy working for Ensign's Senate "political" action committee.

The love affair began in December 2007; a year later, Senator Ensign and his wife QUIETLY separated.

The "aggrieved husband", Doug Hampton - in a letter to Fox News - said the episode eventually precipitated the Hamptons dismissal from the campaign. 

The Senate Ethics Committee is investigating Ensign's efforts to arrange lobbying business for Doug Hampton, after he and wife Cindy were discharged. Ensign stands accused of ignoring the 12-month "turn-around rule" on a lobbyist interacting with a former employer. Supposedly, he enabled Hampton to line up clients before the 12-month grace period had expired.

Hence, the extent of wrongdoing Boxer has to work with is nothing other than a minor crime of silly impatience.

But invariably, we can expect democrats Chuck Schumer, Richard Durban, and Diane Feinstein (three lowlife Senate worms) to call for Ensign's resignation - fomenting as much negative publicity as possible. Boxer will no doubt lobby for FBI involvement, treating the case as if it were the Great Train Robbery. 

As one would expect, Ensign's chicken-livered Republican colleagues are running for cover, acting like Simon Peter denying Jesus before he was crucified...loudly proclaiming, "I barely know the man!"

Fiery Senate minority leader, Mitch McConnell, couldn't retreat fast enough...“I really don’t have any observations to make about the Ensign matter,’’ Mr. McConnell said at a recent press conference, as he was repeatedly questioned about the conduct of Senator Ensign.

Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ) - a member of the Senate Republican leadership - also refused to lend his support. "We should simply wait and see what happens,” offered Kyl.

Sneaky or not, at least the Democrats are quick to close ranks, and defend their "young."

And the Republicans wonder why they keep losing the "moderate" vote? Is there really no honor among thieves?

If Boxer and her phony "Ethics" Committee successfully railroad Ensign out of his seat, that'll be no less than three Senate positions that the Republicans have ceded in less than a year, simply because - like the chicken bystanders they are - the GOP "didn't want to get involved."

In fall of 2008, Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens was falsely convicted of lying on Senate forms about home renovations he received from a campaign contributor, William Allen.

Mr. Pawlenty could have easily fought the democratic-rigged Minnesota Supreme Court, as they time-and-time ruled again in Franken's favor throughout the recount; but Pawlenty, predictably, did nothing - even going so far as to certify the travesty when it was finally over.

Scratch two viable, popular Republicans, without so much as even a lame argument on their behalf. 

Now Pawlenty has temerity enough to appear on Fox News as some credible political commentator, even hinting at a possible presidential run for 2012. This chicken-heart doesn't deserve to even be elected health inspector; and astoundingly, Michael Steele (and the RNC) act as though nothing has happened!

But (time and time again) these events continue to happen; and it appears Ensign will be yet another tossed into the fire, without so much as a parting glance, as the GOP "refuses to interfere"...the cowards!

The actions by these chickens have consequences - GRAVE consequences-  for the future of not only the Republican party, but for the long-term SURVIVAL of America as a free republic! 

If Ted Stevens had been found innocent, would we even be worried about a "public option," or government take over of our medical establishment? 

If Tim Pawlenty had fought for Norm Coleman's rightful victory over Franken, would we even be worried about cap 'n trade...or card check, or public options, or alien amnesty, or any of  these tyrannical actions against our Constitution?

The democratic margin in the Senate would be 58- 42; the democrats would be unable to effect cloture on any Republican filibuster.

But now, the Democrats - because of the willingness of the chicken-hearted Republicans to back away from any political fight - have the entire country over a political barrel, because they play FOR KEEPS.

At this juncture, imagine the desperation of the Congressional liberals - dependent upon campaign contributions from the Left- to cram the Public Option down our throats.

Do not forget! The absence of a condition-free Public Option - in ANY health care bill - will bear supremely negative consequences for Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, and of course, Barack Obama, in the upcoming elections.

These radicals are now walking on political eggs -  realizing that health care reform is utterly MEANINGLESS without a condition-free Public Option -with clear unrestricted path to SINGLE PAYER...with NO exceptions.

Hence, they forge ahead out of sheer political necessity - completely undeterred. Public opinion be damned!

Why has Barack Obama literally sweated blood running around the country, talking till he was blue (er, whatever color) in the face? 

Why did Nancy Pelosi nix her recent, long-standing deal with the Blue Dogs, and re-insert the Public Option into the 1300-page House Bill? Many of the canines are howling that she cares not if it should cost them their seats.

Why is Harry Reid - although down heavily in the Nevada polls - re-inserting the supposedly-dead Public Option, and plans on surreptitiously getting it through (via reconciliation) as a rider on an old House bill (concerning TARP reform)? 

Why did Chuck Schumer and Jay Rockefeller - despite a 13-10 defeat in the Finance Committee -persist in re-introducing two SEPARATE amendments containing the Public Option,  with ZERO chance of passing in the Senate?

Was this all window dressing?

Schumer and Rockefeller - in their respective states- were showing their big union supporters (NEA & the United Mine Workers) that they "will fight to the bitter end."

But herein lies the problem: all of them (every leftist in Congress) would rather die (politically) than miss their one fleeting chance at transforming the U.S. into a 1984-style Big Brother Socialist state- with nightmarish consequences for we Americans!

We cannot take them lightly! For them, the Public Option is their Alamo! They truly are prepared to fight to the end!

And with clear voting majorities in BOTH chambers, do not for even a milli-second think that Pelosi & Reid are not at this very moment, on the phone with either Rahm Emanuel, George Soros, or Andy Stern (president of the SEIU) figuring out their next bribe (or threat) toward whatever hapless member of Congress who stands in their way.

So just what are they fighting for?

Government takeover of 20% of our GDP; controlling the lives of every doctor, nurse, chiropractor, therapist, pharmacist, etc. Plus every hospital, lab, clinic, office, emergency room, nursing home; and the lives of everyone who becomes ill - or needs medical care -  in the next 50 years:

Other than that, the  average American CITIZEN will not be affected:

-The Public Option will be TOTALLY administered by the Federal Government.
-The Public Option wil be available to anyone who wants it, starting Jan 1, 2013. 

-The Public Option will be available to anyone, irrespective of pre-existing conditions

-The Public Option will be available to anyone, whether employed or NOT.

-the Public Option must be available to anyone whether his/her employer offers it or not.
-The Public Option will NOT have conditions placed on it by any private or for-profit entities.
-The Public Option will NOT restrict anyone from opting in or out of it.
-The Public Option will NOT be restricted from evolving into Single Payer.

A Public Option will be made mandatory for ALL government employees - including Congress.

NOTE: The Public Option -and ultimately Single Payer - will be fully financed by FEDERAL TAXES.

So herein lies the big-lollapaloosa, budget-buster, deal-breaker: The public option will quickly become prohibitively expensive due to its pool being skewed toward the unhealthy population. With everyone receiving free healthcare, the preponderance of overweight, out-of-shape (and people with pre-existing illness) will inevitably assure rocketing costs and less availability of services - ergo...RATIONING.

But Pelosi, Reid - and their liar teams of liberals - will never admit it! The Public Option will be a budget-breaker of the first magnitude!

A public option won't drive down healthcare costs - it will send them soaring! And then we'll witness the raping of America in progressive steps, as cap'n trade, amnesty, and finally, the institution of full socialism, eventually take hold within the next decade.

Could anything possibly be more perilous to our individual freedoms - or the long-term survival of our democratic republic?

Imagine the insanity: anyone, at anytime, who gets sick, needs an operation, diagnosis, or has an emergency - or just wants someone to hear of their problems - knowing they will be treated "for free?"

Endless lines anyone? Millions of illegal aliens flocking here (with grandma) for free healthcare? Multiculturalism on steroids? You betcha! 

Imagine how quick the national debt rockets to 30 trillion dollars to pay for everyone's "free" healthcare. The 35% who actually pay 90% of the taxes will eventually be ruined with incremental hikes approaching70% of one's gross income.

And don't forget, a PERMANENT democratic voting majority, as millions of new alien-citizens, government agencies, and bureaucrats are created - sucking the lifeblood out of the system, perpetrating fraud, and ruining whatever's left of medicare and medicaid - which will drift into obsolescence.

And consider the Social Security check that you don't receive in the next 10-15 years, as the U.S. goes bankrupt paying for the healthcare of illegals, and for those who can't (or won't) work.

Plus imagine all the nice, imported Muslim doctors that will be needed to replace all the American physicians, who will quit in utter disgust, knowing they're just another hapless, underpaid government employee, who attended college for 10 years for peanuts.

And given ALL this, consider the incredible wealth transfer that will take place over the next generation, as America truly becomes an income-leveling, socialist nightmare, with the government dictating nearly everything- even to what we're allowed to EAT!

Dust off those bicycles! Saddle them horses. That's right everybody...we're running out of oil!

Or are we?

But if the world is running out, how is it that drillers keep finding more crude everyday; and in places all over ther globe? 

-Occidental Petroleum recently struck a "gusher" in Kern County, California; experts estimate the find could turn out to be a bonanza of 1 billion barrels, located in the petroleum-rich San Jaoquin Basin.

-British Petroleum announced a "giant oil discovery" in the western gulf (of Mexico). BP's chief of exploration, Michael Daly, termed it "very significant" with an estimated 4 billion to 6 billion barrels of oil in deep water.

-Anadarko Energy, a US mid-size producer, announced it had found a whole new oil basin stretching 1100 km from the coast of Ghana to Sierra Leone .

-The Brazilian government-run oil firm, Petrobras, announced their new "ultra-deep" Tupi field off the coast of Sao Paulo, holding as much as eight billion barrels of recoverable light crude. With this discovery, plus a string of others in the Santos Basin, Brazil may possess reserves in the 50-billion-barrel range - the seventh or eighth largest capacity in the world.

But to liberals everywhere, this presents a horrible-horrible conundrum! For them, it's back to the drawing board: apparently, we CAN drill our way out! But will they ever admit it - or permit it?

More than 200 large crude oil discoveries have been reported so far this year in dozens of countries around the world. According to Cambridge Energy Research Associates (Cambridge, Massachusetts) 2009 could be the most productive oil discovery year since 2000.

But as some parts of world's economies (Brazil- West Africa- China) are flourishing, what are we experiencing in the world's richest country? -good ol' all-American stagflation!

ITEM: The U.S. will lend billions of dollars to Brazil's state-owned oil company, Petrobras, to finance exploration of the huge offshore discovery at its Tupi oil field. Brazil's planning minister confirmed that White House National Security Adviser, James Jones, will meet with Brazilian officials to discuss the loan.

ITEM: China’s top refineries are expected to raise their crude oil processing up to a record high as new facilities are brought online.

ITEM:  China will have added some 900,000 barrels/day of new refining capacity this year, to feed a recovering economy - cashing in on a margin-protected fuel-price commodities' strategy

ITEM: The state-run Chinese oil giant, Sinopec Corp. finalized a $2 billion pact to develop Iran’s huge Yadavaran oilfield - part of Beijing’s plan to help ensure a stable, secure supply of oil for the world’s second-largest consumer.

So let's see here...The ENTIRE world is moving fast-forward with fossil fuel energy development - except for the richest country in the world...America.

But who cares? Let those silly countries waste their time and money drilling for oil and building new refineries; things are just peachy for all us Americans - the wealthiest people in the world.

Our liberal-controlled Congress continues to place most of the Outer Continental Shelf, the Arctic, the oil-rich fields in the Alaskan Chukchi Sea, as well as ANWR; and the shale-rich Rocky Mountain West -OFF-limits!

Certainly our wonderful, forthright Congresspeople MUST know something all those stupid other countries don't know.

And what about Mr. Obama? He embraces offshore drilling in Brazil, yet forbids the U.S. to explore in Alaska or along our East and West Coasts, which may be our equivalent of Brazil's giant Tupi oil field.

But why? Surely he must have some real slick trick up his sleeve...and we sure would like to find out!

Yup; it's still a free country, we Americans have a right to wonder why Obama is willing to underwrite  Brazilian oil exploration, yet condemns a similar policy  at home. Maybe it has something to do with their offshore oil being cleaner than that dirty stuff we've been known to spill every once in a while - like back in '69 at Santa Barbara.

Surely Mr. Obama and those nice liberals in Congress must know what they're doing - stopping us from drilling our own prodigious oil reserves.

But perhaps we should - like little elementary schoolers - write Mr. Obama a letter, asking him WHY he's trying to prevent we Americans from the benefits of an estimated two million oil-exploration/refinery jobs, much lower gasoline prices; plus a booming economy.

So boys and girls, let's take out our pens and write letters to our wonderful President!

Dear Mr. Obama:

My Dad used to work up in Houston, and I heard him tell Mom he used to make between $70 and 80 thousand a year. But now, he's not been working lately, and we might have to move from Texas. My Dad says its because we are not allowed to drill for oil.

A friend of my Dad works out of state during the week and comes back on the weekends to be with his family; and he says its terrible for all of them, but their mom said she won't move the rest of them to where he works.

At school the teacher always tells our class that America is the richest country in the world. But my Dad is poor, my Uncle Bill just lost his job, and a lot of my school friends are always asking me for money at lunchtime, because their fathers are also out of work.

Gee, Mr. Obama, can't you do something? You are such a good president. I have a hard time believing what my Dad and Uncle keep saying about you; that you are are big liar and a socialist, and deliberately want to keep people out of work so they must depend on the government, and will have to vote for you again. 

And I think a lot of the other fathers of the kids I go to school with would also be happier if they had jobs, instead of being on welfare, and having to pretend nothing is wrong.

Good luck to you Mr. Obama. Please help everyone in our great country. I know you will do your best for America.

EXAMPLE: Why was Barack Obama’s senior adviser, Valerie Jarrett, so effusive about recruiting the avowed leftist radical, Van Jones, as green energy czar? And what about the 25 (or so) other czars she has been instrumental in naming? 

Indeed, it was the lizard-faced Jarrett, one of Obama's closest personal friends, who's father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, was a known communist sympathizer, who ALSO worked intimately with the radical Obama youth mentor, Frank Marshall Davis.

Call it a conspiracy, co-incidence, or whatever: but the story of how Obama rose to political prominence from a confused, mixed-race adolescent has the makings of a mesmerizing, true-to-life drama; and profoundly influenced by Valerie Jarrett. 

It is now well-established (but NOT publicized) that Barack Obama was linked to the Hawaiian Communist Party network through his boyhood/teenage mentor, Frank Marshall Davis.

The timeline how everything "came together" is as follows:

After World War II, Vernon Jarrett worked at the Chicago "South Side Community Art Center," and wrote for the black-run "Chicago Defender" newspaper. The American Communist Party had members in both organizations, including the black poet-journalist, Frank Marshall Davis.

By 1948, Vernon Jarrett - a rising community activist -  left his job as a journalist to start a black oriented radio show, the “Neg-ro Newsfront” with a partner, Oscar Brown.

Later the same year, Frank Marshall Davis moved (fled) to Hawaii, becoming an active member of the island's underground Communist Party. In 1970, Davis met (and mentored) a fellow future protege –Barry Sotero (Obama).

By the 1960's, Vernon Jarrett would become the Chicago Tribune’s first black syndicated columnist, and founded the "National Association of Black Journalists."

Mr. Jarrett made pertinent the issues that favored Chicago's African-American community -leading to the 1983 election of the city’s first black mayor, Harold Washington. That same year, a society ingenue named Valerie Bowman would marry Vernon's Jarrett's son, Dr. William Robert Jarrett.

In 1987, Valerie Jarrett got her start, working for Mayor Washington as "deputy corporation counsel" for finance and development. As a young city hall lawyer, she then met Richard M. Daley at the wedding of a friend.

Daley was elected mayor a year later, and Jarrett became employed as "Chief planning Commissioner," then, "Deputy chief of staff", during which time she hired lawyer Michelle Robinson, who then introduced Jarrett to her fiance, Barack Obama. 

During her Chicago years, Jarrett has accumulated an astounding array of "directorships."

She has been on 17 boards (not including government agencies) such as the Chicago Transit Authority, where she was the Mayor’s hand-picked chairperson from 1995 to 2003. Since she began working for the Daley "machine", Jarrett made sure all favors went to her friends... many obtaining government contracts.

In brief, Valerie Jarrett has undoubtedly been one of Chicago's most well-connected people, even serving as chairperson of the finance committee for Obama’s 2004 campaign for the U.S. Senate; and later, was a key adviser in his presidential race.  

Jarrett worked as a director on the Chicago University Hospital board, and recommended who else? That's right, Michelle Obama - acquiring her phony $116,000/yr. job there as head of "Community Outreach." Jarrett then made sure Michelle got a well-deserved 300% raise, after Barack Obama became a US Senator in early 2005.

Since 2005, Jarrett also sat on the board of REEF America, a real estate investment trust - controlling $23 million from the Chicago Transit Authority pension fund, and a mere $120 million in state pension funds.

And had not a US attorney made public the Blagovich "pay-to-play" scandal, Obama had Valerie Jarrett on track to replace him in the US Senate. 

Thus far, Valerie Jarrett is the hiring machine behind all the Czars; she and Michelle Obama have had a hand in every one appointed. 

By sheer co-incidence, each czar has some connection to either Richard Daley, Frank Marshall Davis, Chicago University Hospital, Tony Rezko, Rod Blagovich, or someone affiliated with a socialist or communist organization. And all have been designated to effect "the change" Barack Obama has promised. 

Until last year, Jarrett was chairperson of the Chicago Stock Exchange; a director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago; vice chairman of the University of Chicago’s board of trustees -plus her being a director on the university’s hospital board.

Besides our Marxist friend Van Jones, Jarrett’s office was influential in advocating for a CDO (chief diversity officer) at the FCC - Mark Lloyd, who’s job is to create more “diversity” in media ownership - Ms. Jarrett's idea for a backdoor way to bypass the “Fairness Doctrine.”

Another radical leftist, Jameel Jaffer, head of the ACLU’s “National Security Project,” recently was invited by Valerie Jarrett to the White House's first annual "Ramadan" dinner.

All Mr. Jaffer has done is file lawsuits challenging  the constitutionality of warrantless wiretaps, has been a leader in pushing for the shut down of Guantánamo Bay, and provided legal rights to terrorists held in the US; plus Jaffer was instrumental in the leaking of “torture photos” out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Sources inside the CIA accuse Jaffer of offering legal advice to the Department of Justice, in its treasonous pursuit into "enhanced interrogation techniques" used by the agency.

Jaffer has a proud career of litigating against the United States in support of terrorists and radical Islamists, and has avowed to pursue agents within the Bush-Cheney CIA until "justice is done."  

Not surprisingly, Valerie Jarrett  was recently appointed vice chairman of the team preparing Chicago's bid for the 2016 Olympics - one of Mayor Daley's prized initiatives. Could that possibly have had any weight behind Obama's taxpayer-paid, 16-hour trip to Copenhagen? 

From the day she "took power," Jarrett’s covert mission has been the recruiting of a Marxist team, with goals of bypassing the Congress, and the DESTRUCTION of our Constitution - or as Obama would characterize it..."fundamentally transforming America."

Jarrett has but singlehandedly built a shadow government of Chicago mobsters residing within the WhiteHouse - conspiring and colluding to ruin conservative America. She, along with her buddy-buddy Michelle, is one several key people in Barack Obama's inner circle. 

Many of the brazen socialist policies he enacts are primarily Jarrett's ideas; yet we are never apprised of the nefarious ties she brings with her assemblege of  thugs we innocuously call... "the Obama  administration."

There are but three obstacles to overthrowing an existent democracy:

And soon, it's about to be one down... two to go.

In a rambling speech at the Washington Brookings Institute, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Julius Genachowski revealed his intent for government regulation of the internet - cleverly disguised in the liberal catch-phrase..."net neutrality." 

Genachowski is proposing that the FCC should be the "guardian of proper information flow" over the internet; i.e. internet carriers cannot discriminate against certain types of web traffic by degrading service.

And in a startling surprise, our anti-president is endorsing the FCC chairman's "decision."

But knowing the Machiavellian workings of the Obama Administration, this can only portend two outcomes: 

1) Whenever liberals propose something as vanilla as "net neutrality," it always means the EXACT opposite of what they intend to do - eventual ironclad control of the internet, ala Red China, North Korea, or Cuba.

Does this guy ever back off? Pitchforks anyone?

And what about this sneak Genachowski? Basically proposing a phony solution to a problem that doesn't exist - a surefire clue that it's all a move toward censorship, disguised as the innocuous-sounding "net neutrality".

It's obvious; Obama and his radicals are determined to censor ALL media - just as in any other dictator-run country. Our suck-up liberal press is already controlled. Obama has Hugo Chavez for his posterboy - regulate everything and everybody - but just do it subtly...incrementally.

- First, introduce a proposal to micromanage how content flows over the internet - something that sounds reasonable to all - but it's actually the "camel's nose under the tent".

- Next, come up with another FCC proposal (after a 1-year phony public commentary period) which grants the FCC power to control internet CONTENT, the justification being that, like obscenity, the government keeps everything "media acceptable."

- Lastly, the FCC eventually morphs its authority into more government regulation - and now justifies controlling the content of TALK radio...Obama's piece' de' resistance!

Ironically, it's all so workable: The White House GRADUALLY assumes control of  the internet, then subverts talk radio - all without public objection, or an ugly political fight.

Obama realizes that sneaking past the First Amendment (using the FCC federal regulatory process) won't engender the same kind of white-hot emotion as some incendiary tax-hike or health care debate.

Not surprisingly, the media conveniently ignores how the FCC is planning to censor the web -aware that if the proposal is couched in rhetoric that makes it sound like "improvement," the American public just rolls over.

Just picture how wonderful "net neutrality" will be; then, in about 3-4 years, we'll witness how the FCC has had the opportunity to completely warp the law's original intent, like they've done with the EPA and CO2 emissions.

This is nothing other than an unelected Federal Communications Commission bowing to special interest groups - claiming that..."this isn't government regulation... this is just about fairness and giving everyone the same thing."

Sound familiar? More liberal lies? Of course!

Someone has to be monitoring all those networks, making sure they remain 'neutral.' Who is that going to be? Move On.org? Media Matters? George Soros?

"Internet neutrality" sounds like something harmless, but if passed, network engineers know it means traffic jams, delays with streaming videos; plus spyware, spamming, and online threats would only proliferate.

Establishing governmental “fairness” standards is nothing more than another coffin nail in our Bill of Rights. Words and phrases like “reasonable” and “rational basis” and “fairness” and “balanced” mock any fundamental notion of free expression.

Genachowski -like the Obamanazi - believes that the First Amendment is obsolete.

We live in the informatioin age; information is the key component of our American lifestyle.

So control information- control the people.

Hence, the government is now on track to control Google, Yahoo, etc. and to eventually block citizens from finding the information they’re looking for on the web. 

Just picture the feds being able to cancel internet service for anyone suspected of downloading “dangerous” content. And soon, your searches could become "evidence" against you. Can the obligatory IRS audit be far behind?

While the American people are absorbed with proposed health care legislation, Barack Obama is seeking unprecedented power over the web in stages: 

Stage 1) accessing private data,

Stage 2) regulating cyber-security in the private sector

Stage 3) the authority to completely shutdown the internet during a cyber emergency.
 
Basically, it would empower Obama (the almighty) with an internet dictatorship.

And with Obama in control of American cyberspace, would our internet will be any different than North Korea's? A total dictatorial fascist regime, opening the floodgates of privacy to total surveillance, total control, total censorship-- giving Obama total power.

And for all those who think "this could never happen" (or isn't possible), ask the Chinese, or Cubans, just how easy it is to censor and monitor 100% of web traffic.
